Terrestrial - Soils
Soils are life!
Soils are life!
Soils form the foundation of all terrestrial ecosystems. Without soil, there would be no life! Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) in particular, forms the foundation for soil fertility, biodiversity and constitutes the largest storage of organic carbon on land. My research focuses on the stability of SOC and the resilience of soil systems to ongoing land- and climate changes.
Below you can explore research on open-source publications! Note also the MDPI Special Issue on Sustainable Soils, for which Prof.Ray Weil and I are editors.
